We have 2020 pork available and are excited to share with you, our farm community. We charge $6 per pound (includes processing) and sell in packages for $50 and $75 You will get a mix of bacon, sausage, chops, roasts.   A pig from our farm gets 40-60% of its diet from the extras of our vegetable operation, apple orchard and cider pressing, real food scraps and slops), and is raised out in the fresh air and sunshine and MUD, of course. Oh, and the pigs got lots of love, hugs, ear scratches and belly rubs, too. :) Pastured pork has been found to have 300% more vitamin E and 74% more selenium than conventional pork. Our pork is at once incredibly lean and deliciously rich. We are proud to offer such a high quality product at such a reasonable price.  Please let me know right away if you would like some. I first share with our farm school families and close community, then open it up to the larger community "pig to love" so she will not be going to the butcher. Rosie loves hugs and mothers each new batch of baby piglets. The new piglets will be arriving on the 20th of December. :)

Right now we are looking at $5 per pound hanging weight and you pay for processing with Russ (R&C charges $150 or $75 for half a pig, plus extra for curing the hams and bacon). We drop the pig off and pick up the meat and you pick up at the farm. If live weight is around 350 pounds then hanging weight will be approximately 210 (60%) to 245 (70%). Your total cost will probably be about $600 for half a pig, you take home about 100 or 150 pounds of pork. Again, because you are paying for hanging weight, we will need to see what that is for each pig. So for now we have three pigs, keeping half for ourselves, so we have 5.5 halves to sell.
