Thursday Homeschool Equestrian Club

Thursdays, 9-11AM

ages 7 and up

$50

Calling all horse lovers! From the very first class, we will learn to better understand how horses work, think and move. From there, each meeting will involve a different curriculum that will take lessons one step further. We want to explore the Whys and Hows of horsemanship through classroom brainstorming, riding time and/or demonstrations under saddle and fun hands-on activities.

After each club session, students will leave with enhanced horse safety and care skills, and strengthened relationships with horses and other riders alike! Club meetings are held regardless of weather, however, if riding is scheduled for that day - it will be replaced with a more suitable activity.

What To Wear

Please come prepared for your lessons wearing long, comfortable pants and boots or shoes with a heel. Tennis shoes and open-toed shoes are not appropriate for riding. You may bring your own certified riding helmet or borrow one of ours. We will provide approved riding helmets. You may also wear riding gloves, which help the reins to stay firmly in your grip, but they are not a requirement.

Special Note: Under Colorado Law, an equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to section 13-21-119, Colorado Revised Statutes.
