Then we share lunch together in the orchard. After lunch we will work with the horses and ride if the weather permits. Please send your child with water, lunch and a snack. Children need sturdy shoes that cover the toes as they will be working with animals.

This 3 hr holiday camp for 8-12 year olds will start with caring for all of the farm animals in the morning (pigs, chickens, rabbits, goats) and then, after a quick snack, will be focused mainly on equestrian skills/horsemanship. Riding will be included if the weather permits! If not, then we will be doing ground activities with equines in the barn. Dress for the weather! If it is cold or snowy, dress for sledding, bring extra socks, gloves, a good winter hat, water, snacks, and waterproof boots.

SATURDAY EQUESTRIAN CLUB
Saturday Equestrian Club - Ongoing throughout the year 2-4 PM Ages 8 and up $50 Calling all horse lovers! From the very first class, we will learn to better understand how our horses work, think and move. From there, each meeting will involve a different curriculum that will take lessons one step further. We want to explore the Whys and Hows of horsemanship through classroom brainstorming, riding time and/or demonstrations under saddle and fun hands-on activities. After each club session, students will leave with enhanced horse safety and care skills, and strengthened relationships with horses and other riders alike! Club meetings are held regardless of weather. However, if riding is scheduled for that day, it will be replaced with a more suitable activity. Small class - only six kiddos! |
