Welcome Farmer Taylor

What I love most about my days are the relationships that grow.   In the daily routine, it's my relationships with the horses, pigs, goats, chickens (... garden, trees, soil, the list goes on) but in the farm classes it's the community we build with these small farmers that I love like my own.  And then there are the teachers.   I love to see how they nurture and play, teach and learn with these kiddos.  We see quite a bit of transition with our teachers as beautiful opportunities open up for them.  We had to say goodbye to Farmer Kristen as she started an exchange program in France, to Farmer Anna as she is leading a group of Girl Scouts on a trip in India. Farmer Kate took a full time position in the PSD schools.  Exciting stuff. Hard to say goodbye.  And then we get to say hello to new farmers.  Meet Farmer Taylor.  Here's what she shared:

"Hi there I'm Taylor! I am an education student at Colorado State University. I grew up in Durango Colorado hunting, camping, hiking and playing in the river. I love critters. I have raised pigs for the local county fair and I like collecting eggs from the family chickens while my handsome cat Jake plays with the hens. I enjoy interacting with children and being in the outdoors. Through my experiences I have found a passion for education. Learning by doing is part of my educational philosophy and being a Farm School instructor allows me to demonstrates this. Becoming a part of the Laughing Buck Farm family has brought joy to my life and I can't wait to share new farm experiences with you."

Farmer Taylor, we are so glad to have here at Laughing Buck Farm.  You can find the bio for Taylor and our other Farm School teachers here:  http://www.laughingbuckfarm.com/meet-our-teachers.html
